License #4501
Cara Lindell, LPC-MHSP, NCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health Service Provider and National Board Certified Counselor who has been working with individuals and couples for a decade. Over the years, she has supported clients in navigating and healing depression, anxiety, low self-worth, grief, trauma and relationship conflict. Her early work led to realization that many of the struggles we face in life and in our relationships are deeply connected to the relationship we have with ourselves.
This insight has shaped the heart of Cara’s work. Today, she partners with clients to help them cultivate a stronger, more loving, and empowering relationship with self that leads to change. Her approach is compassionate, grounded, and insight-oriented, drawing primarily from Psychodynamic Theory. By exploring the underlying messages and beliefs we carry, often formed in early life, Cara helps clients understand how these internal narratives control their thoughts, emotions and behaviors/choices.
Cara holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, GA. She blends a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each individual, integrating nervous system work to help clients move through blocks that keep them stuck. Her work is both exploratory and educational, offering clients tools to better understand how they are wired and take safe, effective steps towards meaningful change.
At the core of Cara’s practice is the belief that lasting change happens within the context of a safe, trusting relationship-and through the development of self-compassion. She works intentionally and thoughtfully to see each client as a whole, unique person, creating an open and supportive space for insight, healing and long-term growth.
